The documentary promises an intimate and comprehensive view of Miguel Saraiva's career, highlighting his fundamental role in transforming a small studio into a globally recognized corporate entity. With exclusive access to a vast archive of images, recordings and other materials, the production will shed light on Saraiva's passion for architectural design and fearless vision, which have allowed S+A to maintain its status as a leading studio led by world-renowned architects, headquartered in Lisbon and offices in nine countries.
The history of S+A is inseparable from the history of its founder and CEO, Miguel Saraiva, whose innovative concepts and adaptive vision were fundamental to the firm's international success. With more than a hundred employees based in Lisbon, S+A stands out for its openness to the world, adaptability to new markets and resilience in the face of social changes.
In addition to this documentary project, the Gallery is committed to producing other significant titles for the Portuguese market, including the series “Arquitectos Portugal” and the documentary “SIZA”, exploring the life and work of the acclaimed architect Álvaro Siza Vieira.
Filming for the documentary Miguel Saraiva is scheduled to begin later this year, with a premiere scheduled for 2025.
