Continuing its journey through esteemed architecture and film festivals around the globe, the documentary "SIZA" continues to captivate audiences worldwide. Following its successful premiere at AFFR 2023 - Architecture Film Festival Rotterdam, where it was hailed as one of the best-selling premieres, "SIZA" is now set to appear at the Milano Design Film Festival and the Festival of Iberoamerican Cultures in Stockholm.
First on the agenda, "SIZA" will take center stage at the Festival of Iberoamerican Cultures , held in collaboration with twelve Iberoamerican embassies and promoted in partnership with the Camões Institute, in Stockholm. The thirteenth edition of the festival, themed "Urban Space: Coexistence and Culture," celebrates the richness of Iberoamerican culture and its intersections with urban landscapes. Director Augusto Custodio will join the event to discuss the documentary's significance in preserving Álvaro Siza's legacy and amplifying the impact of his architecture.
Following its screening in Stockholm, the Milano Design Film Festival is scheduled from March 6th to 10th. The documentary will be showcased on March 7th, offering attendees an exclusive insight into the life and work of renowned architect Álvaro Siza Vieira. With its unique portrayal, blending personal anecdotes, sketches, and rare family photographs, "SIZA" promises an intimate exploration of Siza's architectural legacy.
