The episode featuring architect Fernanda Marques will be supported by Roca, in a space designed by the architect herself — a symbol of the appreciation for national architecture.

Roca Gallery is a cultural initiative by the Roca brand, created to foster dialogue with society around architecture, design, innovation, and sustainability. Launched in 2009, the project began as a meeting space for professionals and the public and has since grown to six locations around the world. Each Roca Gallery hosts

exhibitions, talks, and events, while also showcasing the brand’s latest innovations.

The Roca São Paulo Gallery features architectural design by Fernanda Marques and landscape design by Alex Hanazaki. Together, they crafted a contemporary, fluid, and unique language for one of the busiest areas of the city. Inspired by nature, the project incorporates elements such as wood and stone, bringing an atmosphere reminiscent of the forest into the interior spaces — evoking timelessness and durability.

“This project is very meaningful to me, as it is the first Roca Gallery in Latin America — and it was designed by me, a woman...”— Fernanda Marques

Filming for the episode took place in April at the iconic Roca space in São Paulo, bringing together Gallery’s creative team and Fernanda Marques’ studio in an immersive experience combining interviews, behind-the-scenes moments, and a thoughtful look into the architect’s creative process. The episode highlights the intersection of art, design, and functionality, and explores how Fernanda brings her aesthetic identity to projects that resonate with contemporary living.

The partnership with Roca reinforces the mission of Architects Brazil: to document the present of Brazilian architecture by connecting leading figures in the field with brands that share values such as innovation, excellence, and a commitment to preserving national heritage through exclusive and insightful audiovisual productions.

Produced by Gallery — an institution dedicated to the preservation and sharing of stories about architecture and design — the series aims to build a legacy through historically significant audiovisual storytelling. Each episode invites the audience into the creative world of architects shaping the urban and cultural landscape of Brazil.
